Eco-kids?

In advance of the day we’re running a number of competitions to bring out the best in all the eco-kids around. Full competitions and entry forms are available and we have some great prizes for the winners too. An independent panel will be judging on the Green Day itself, so everyone who enters has a fair chance of winning. The competitions are open to anyone, anywhere as long as they are 18 or under…so what are you waiting for. Get creative!

See the downloads to the right for more details of the competitions..and a photo of the prizes, which include, eco-books for kids, a dynamo flashlight, trendy planter and more.

There is still plenty of time to enter. Group entries must arrive by post by March 7th, but individual entries can be brought along on the day as early as soon after 2pm as possible. Judging will commence at 3pm.

Judges will be;

  • Katie, local eco-teen, and designer of our eco-kids competitions
  • Andrew Reeves, Community Climate Change Officer, The Rural Communities Council
  • Rev. Mark Smith of St Mary’s Church, Bottesford
The Story of Stuff

The Story of Stuff

Don’t miss our free 20-minute mini-film The Story of Stuff, an up-beat thought provoking mini-film on all the ‘stuff’ we all have in our lives! This will be running on a continuous loop throughout the afternoon to give as many people a chance to see it as possible.
